In this first paragraph, I should introduce myself. I am Pamel Starr Welsh. I am a free-lance writer of all genres. I write poetry, song lyrics, short stories, movie scripts, and novels. I have had many of my poetic works published. I also have had a few short stories published. On this site you will find my writings in all their genre. Remember, they are copyrighted and you can not use them without my permission. As you browse through my writings please feel free to express your opinions on the various writings that are displayed. This site is dedicated to the memory of my Mother and her love and devotion to me and the craft of writing. My mother was not only my best friend but also my most formidable critic. She is sorely missed. It is also dedicated to those who have suffered Domestic Violence and Abuse.
RELIGOUS POETRY
SEARCHING GOD
Searching the night sky,
For the answer to why,
LIfe happens as it does,
The way for some of us.
My burdens subside,
As I begin to confide,
My weariness within,
To the One without sin.
Wanting is not always right,
We must walk in His sight,
Knowing He carries our plights,
Loving us to unending heights.

The snow is melting
The sun does shine
The birds are singing
It's Spring divine.
I see tulips
Peeking up
From the earth
Signs of Springs rebirth.
